Yoga space for kids and teens
Yoga Space to:

  • Develop body awareness.
  • Learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way.
  • Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement.
  • Build concentration.
  • Increase their confidence and positive self-image.
  • Feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group

Classes available for ages 5-10 years and 11-14 years on a Thursday afternoon

5-10yrs 4-5pm - Classes are fun and interactive, incorporating human mandalas, yoga poses, adventure, games, acroyoga, mindfulness, breathing and quiet time. The classes aim to develop self-awareness, co-ordination, teamwork, creativity and relaxation. 

11-14yrs 5.15-6.15pm - For the older age group the classes are based on a more traditional Hatha yoga class but with an emphasis on emotional topics and mindfulness. The class will also include human mandalas, acroyoga and some games to create connection and promote community.
