Counselling can help with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, anger, self esteem, loss and much more. Person centred counselling is about creating a safe space where you can voice your thoughts, feelings, concerns and anxieties without being judged. It is a collaboration between a counsellor and a client. It can enable you to come to a clearer awareness and understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Counsellors won't give you advice or tell you what to do. Their focus is to help you get in touch with yourself, allowing you to make decisions and take actions that feel right to you.
A counsellor will listen attentively without judgement, they will help you to be curious about the way you are in the world. Having someone on your side who is willing to explore your world with you can be extremely powerful.
Sessions last for 50 minutes.
